- Support with career guidance at the end of the claim to assist clients who require some direction with seeking new employment

FAQs
Clients will firstly need to be referred to Custodian Work Assist for workplace rehabilitation assistance under their Workers Compensation, Compulsory Third Party or Life Insurance claim. Refer to the Referrals section on our website for more information.
Clients must have full Workplace Rehabilitation Program approval with Custodian Work Assist in order to be eligible to access assistPLUS.
Our Rehabilitation Consultants will discuss referral to assistPLUS with clients when appropriate. Our clients can also ask for more information or discuss a referral to assistPLUS with their assigned Rehabilitation Consultant.
Clients who have not received full Workplace Rehabilitation Program approval with Custodian Work Assist will be able to access the assistPLUS program’s financial counselling services.

Clients will only be referred to assistPLUS if they require one or more of the services throughout their Workplace Rehabilitation Program with Custodian Work Assist. Referral to any of the assistPLUS services will be discussed with the client prior to a referral being made, and the client will have the choice on whether they wish to proceed.
Eligible clients can access one complimentary session of career coaching, nutrition education, domestic assistance, mental health education and physical health education. Clients can continue to receive financial counselling support through Moneycare for as long as required.
The assistPLUS services are free for eligible clients to access, which means there will be no out-of-pocket costs for the client. Custodian Work Assist cover the cost of one session of career coaching, nutrition education, domestic assistance, mental health education and physical health education per client. The financial counselling service is free for clients to access.
Clients may choose to continue on privately and self-fund services through our industry partners once they have used their free session.
Our industry partners offer a range of phone, telehealth and face-to-face appointment options, depending on the client’s preference and location.
Moneycare has multiple office locations across the Perth metropolitan area for provision of financial counselling services; career coaching and mental health education are available for face-to-face appointments in Subiaco, Western Australia.
Domestic assistance is completed at the client’s home. Nutrition and physical health education are available via phone and telehealth.
assistPLUS is not a treatment service and will not replace or interfere with the client’s current treatment plan through their existing allied health and treatment team. It is designed to complement the existing services that are in place, in order to maximise support and outcomes for clients. The assistPLUS services are provided separate to the compensable claim and are not associated with any claim or liability-related decisions.
